the College fair!
The college represenatives are starting to drift in, i myself would not mind talking with a few. its great to get to know what four year school are looking for.
Lunch came and went.
well lunch was good, everyone took a break from the work and after eating went outside for a group photo. then, back to the studio’s for the finishing touches.
Lost The Use of My camera
i gave my camera away for someone to borrow so i wont be putting up any pictures for the rest of the event. anywho, the students went to their studio’s and got to work finishing up their instilations. they sure are looking good.
Going to sleep
Well we managed to get to the dorms with no problems and split up into groups for each dorm. it is a little strange, definitely different home. but im sure everyone managed quite well, there were no complaints.
Student work
after wandering around for a bit i decided to check out what the students had been up to.
Between food.
between lunch and dinner the students began some serious work. by the time dinner came around most groups had a solid idea. many even had some major progress on their instilations.

After enjoying a scrumptious lunch, and relaxing for a couple minutes, the students have gone back to the studio’s to brain storm and decide on idea’s to work with. Everyone is given the general theme of “limits, no limits” and a limited and specific supply of materials. the time after lunch seems to be generaly dedicated to brainstorming. this is a decisive moment, will...
The Presentation
After everyone arived we left the museum and went to a church across the street for a presentation. we got a lot of juicy information there from several of the faculty and an inspiring talk from the museum director(though i have to say, it was hard to pay attention with the heat the gym). and after all the important stuff, everyone got a quick peak at the students work. i have to say im impressed
Art All State
Well i managed to get to the museum after sitting in traffic for about half an hour on the mass pike, im sure there were student that also had trouble with the traffic, so it has been a hectic morning.
Its Wednesday! One more day till Friday.
I updated a couple of things and added a picture of art all state 2007. As you can see, there are quite a number of students that attend this event, and they all come from different area’s of Massachusetts. So its Monday, about four days before art all state begins. I attended the event in 2007, and i must say it sure was a little nerve wracking those couple of days before things actually began. i was going to be leaving my house for two whole days, attending an event where i did not know anyone at all. but after all was said and done, i would say that i throughly enjoyed myself.
